Date notes: We were very excited last year when we saw monarchs on our milk weed. This year we have more milkweed but no monarchs but I did notice these cute caterpillars eating the leaves of the milkweed. They have been around for several days. I'm not a very good photographer. I checked on line and it looks like it is from a milkweed Tussock moth. I will go outside again before it gets too dark. I did notice a very dark moth by my mail box.

Observation notes: They are eating the leaves of milkweed. I thought only the Monarch caterpillars ate milkweed leaves so I got on the computer and found this site
