Observation notes: Flew onto the gravel in front of me as I was leaving park. Mostly in the shadows of a variety of large trees. Initially batted its wings several times, then left them up. Stayed there for several minutes as I got very close to it to photograph it. A little tattered. Weather: 89 degrees, approx. 35% humidity. Size: 2" wingspan
