Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Nectaring on an aster. Many individuals present at this location and courtship behavior observed. Sunny afternoon, light wind with temperature in upper 60's F.

Coordinator notes: Based on Warren's Oregon book this should be Satyrium semiluna. I recommend you contact Jon Shepard or Johnathan Pelham for their input on ranges or other questions with this and S. fuliginosum. Distrubution data can be outdated and the split of these two species is recent and may have come after publications you cite.-I am not up to date with this species in Oregon in terms of distribution other than Warren (2005)-Ken Davenport
