Observation notes: Observed "puddling" on damp soil of the trail in mixed conifer/aspen woodland. Elevation Approx. 8,600 ft.

Coordinator notes: as currently construed by the experts, Atlantis does not occur in NM, though perhaps along our very northern border. The widespread fritillary in most NM mountain ranges is thought to be Northwestern Frit.
