I have one I collected at about 7700' level on the Sherman Pass Rd. nearly identical to that. They resemble Erynnis icelus (Dreamy Duskywing), but the date seems too late in season for that. That is a much better record than propertius-Ken Davenport Added note: The submitter confirmed this individual was photographed on the Sherman Pass Rd., where this species is known to occur from about an elevation of 5900' to 8000'.
