Observation notes: Observed several of this same species on some two foot tall echinacea in a sunny location in an alley behind people's homes. Seemed quite content feeding on the top of the coneflower, then moved to another section of the same coneflower and didn't fly away when I got VERY close to it to photograph it. Weather: Sun overhead, hot--91 degrees, approx. 55% humidity. Size: Approx. .75-.9"
