Observation notes: I stopped at a winery to check out the ornamental garden. The only butterflies were in the weedy median strip in a driveway next to the ornamental garden (habitat shot). 2 checkered skippers and 1 purplish copper. This area used to be extensive wetlands and is now mostly vineyards. very windy.
