Our 2023 fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. Your support is vital to the project. Please make a recurring or one-time donation to sustain this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Plume Moth was observed on my vehicle. Mostly sunny, slight wind, 78 degreed F. It rested long enough to get a few photo then flew off. Was in a wooded area.

Coordinator notes: Geina buscki or tenuidactylus -- both moths look similar. After viewing the distribution maps for both moths on Bugguide and MPG, it seems preferable to place this moth in G. tenuidactylus. There are no reports of G. buscki occuring in Wisconsin on either of these sites.
