Observation date: June 21, 2018
Submitted by: RobertWeeden
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: 85 F and sunny. About 10-12 mm in length. When disturbed, these moths made short, fast flights (2-4 feet) before landing again suddenly. About 80% of the landings ended with the moth facing head down. I checked against all Crambus species listed as being in Alaska and pascuellus looks like a really good match.
