Observation notes: The moth was in flight in a light rain when first seen, attempting to light on several garden plants. It quickly selected Monarda punctata, and lit on the underside of a leaf. I spooked it several times and it kept returning to the Monarda. I've seen Salvia listed as a host plant and I have several salvias, but the attraction to the Monarda may hint at it as a possible host.
