Observation notes: With porch light on, moth appeared on window 3 feet below light, above pot of mixed plants (dianthus, petunia, hosta, melissa officinalis, rue graveolens. It was a clear night in the 80s. Moth was there for at least an hour. After midnight, its wings were slightly closer to body, which was noted because in the picture (taken at 11:15pm), the lower center markings look like four hearts and later those spots were condensed.
