Observation notes: Saw it crawling/walking on the wood chips in my vegetable garden path. At that point its wings were less than 1/2” long. I got it to crawl onto my glove and then onto a nearby onion where it seemed very content. An hour or so later when I took the photo the wings were more fully developed.
