Observation notes: In a sunny forest (balsam fir, aspen, white spruce) opening with several species of grass including false melic (Schizachne purpurascens) and poverty oats (Danthonia spicata) and a sedge (Carex communis). Warm sunny humid day about 75 deg. F. Butterfly was resting on grass.
