Coordinator notes: This one is a female of the Rocky Mountain Duskywing (Erynnis telemachus). The spots on the hindwings are well defined on the Persius Duskywing and not so vaguely defined or rather blurred in their presentation as they are on telemachus which is also a much larger species and this one looks to be a larger Duskywing as well. The host is Gambel's Oak and I'll bet you were in an area with oak where you took this nice photo in Douglas County. Mike
