Observation notes: We set up a moth screen with a mercury vapour light on our property next to the Chase River in a residential area. The area is riparian with many different kinds of trees: Fir, cedar, fruit trees, black cottonwoods, and the garden has many different varieties of flora as well. The day was very sunny and warm (17C).
