Observation notes: Crawling on deck railing of home surrounded by Valley oaks and Madrone. Might be some Douglas Fir up the hill about 700 ft away. Caterpillar had tiny red markings along back that don’t show up too well in the photo. Sunny afternoon, temps in low 70s. Rain last night.
