Observation notes: Moth found on the platform of Lake Station of the LA Metro resting on the white warning line. When approached the moth did not fly away. The specimen was then moved from the subway platform. The moth was brought from the subway platform and out of the station, it then began vibrating its wings rapidly for a period of time and then flew away. Weather: 27 degrees celsius, sunny, winds: 5km/h SSE.
