Observation notes: Moth was clinging to a low-growing plant. I urged the moth onto a stick so I could get a better look at it. Its wings were curled and it almost certainly was unable to fly. The weather was cool, about 65º, and damp after an early-morning rain.

Coordinator notes: Moth just emerged from pupa and was looking for a place to expand and dry its wings. Should have been able to fly several hours from when the photos were taken.
