Observation notes: At least 40 butterflies swarming together and landing together over a trail. A stream is within about 20 feet. Grey and very well camouflaged when wings folded. Blue on top when flying.

Coordinator notes: There is certainly Northern Azures present in your photo as your suggested identification. There might be another species or two also but none are large enough to clearly make out (maybe the Western Tailed Blue and Boisduval's Blue). If your camera has a zoom function, use that. You can submit more than one photo as long as they don't go over the maximum size requirement I think it use to be 16MB. Mike
