Observation notes: Bright sunny day, was in shaded area, found on side walk, building was a multi use facility, had a over hang in front of whole building, I coaxed moth into my hand, held it for a couple of minutes, it then began to shake it’s wings very rapidly, assuming this was this self defense mechanism to ward me i.e. the predator off, i then carefully coaxed the moth onto a wooden bench. I then took several photos, I’m assuming male due to it’s larger antennae. I coaxed it back onto my hand to observe its behaviors more, then it flew off into the distance after a few seconds of me holding it.
