Observation notes: This was on my front porch, sitting on a chair. It didn't move at all, even when I got very close to it or when I blew on it. I went inside, so I don't know how long it stayed there.
In the picture, the white thing the moth is sitting on is the side of a chair, so it should actually be vertical, not horizontal.
