Observation notes: Having concentrated mostly on butterflies, I really don't have any idea what species of moth this is, if it even is one. It flew like a moth but I couldn't really see anything else that would distinguish it from a butterfly. It was visiting the flowers of an American Plum in the middle of the afternoon, which is when I have seen these before.
