Observation notes: Territorial Behavior in Patch of Buckwheat Probably a Male as it would not leave its area in Sheltered area in a depression Road side north fork Kern River lots Blooming Fiddle neck lupin mustard ceanothus paint brush pop corn flowers california poppy School Bells so very many wild flowers out in Bloom Very Lovely High water in stream or river very brown and Swift lots of wood in river lots of puddles from rain day Before. Saw Several of these some with whole line of spots some with just one.
