Observation notes: Probably male Displaying Territorial Behaviors Returning to Same Perch after chasing others or being startled from roost Warm Day North fork Kern River Getting Green lot of nectar lots of Species Starting to Show up Some very Fresh blues several species at least 5 species of Blues Many others Very Diverse Area Recovering from fire a few years Back rain Day Before had River running high and fast brown water due to soil in it and lots of wood. Raging rapids Spring is in the air These have obviously Been out for a while so Days have probably been nice in sheltered areas. mid seventies lower elevations mid Sixties higher up. mostly Clear. Beautiful area Beautiful Day
