Coordinator notes: There are several problems in making an identification here. There is no habitat information. Is this foothill woodland? Coniferous forest or Desert juniper woodland? All needed to differentiate sara, julia and thoosa as species. What do the females look like? If yellow they are likely julia. I doubt thoosa gets into Oregon. BAMONA only recognizes sara so I accepted your record as that. Warren in his Oregon book kept everything as sara but Stout's paper reconciled many such issues-Ken Davenport
