Observation notes: This is a tentative ID. My first thought was actually Jalapus Cloudywing because there appeared to be a stub tail, probably an artifact of the angle of sight. I have no prior experience with either species.

Coordinator notes: This sighting has the characteristic stub tail of A. jalapus, I do not think that is because of the angle. If one looks at photos of the two species, A. toxeus (Coyote) hindwing is always rounded. This is definitely not. Good match with verified photos on bugguide.net.
