Coordinator notes: Your suggested ID was correct and I have no problem placing a positive ID on this orange-tip....it is Thoosa. It has a complete, well developed black band across the forewing bordering the orange patch and the points at the edge of that patch are not sharp (blunt) which is characteristic of thoosa (they are sharply pointed on Anthocharis julia). And, the underside of the hindwing markings are obviously inky looking (blackish) with not much green. Mike (Colorado Coordinator).
