Coordinator notes: Your ID based on the BAMONA site lists is correct however, it is contended that Colorado high altitude populations of these coppers in the mountains are a different species than L. helloides found at lower altitude. These are Lycaena florus and in the San Juan Mountains the subspecies is sangremar (elsewhere is the nominate subspecies is florus). One of these days the powers that be will come around to the truth of this.
