Observation notes: Walking along the towpath trail, there were numerous skipper butterflies feeding on the yellow blossoms of Wingstem (Yellow Ironweed); Even though they were all very active and hard to photograph, I was still able to get clear photos of different individuals that appeared to be the same type; Hot and muggy - upper 80's; cloudy; Forested area
