Date notes: This butterfly was seen at Dyck Arboretum in Hesston, Ks. It was feeding on a hybrid Echinacea. I think it's a Bordered Patch.

Observation notes: Feeding on a hybrid Echinacea, this butterfly was seen at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston, KS. Air temperature was probably about 65 or 70 degrees. Sunny evening with a light breeze.
