Date notes: 50°F/7°C Hu80% 6mph/10kmh-SW. Night. Cold, damp & misty here in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania… Hurricane Irma reportedly just made landfall on Key West, Florida tonight ,(9/10/2017 @ 12:00am/0-hr). I'll give a moment of silence for prayer. Amen. Calm & steady soft breezes blow cool air.. Jacket/Flannel shirt weather.

Observation notes: These guys are out in FULL FORCE in this observation… They were clustered under [Red Macintosh] Apple tree leaves, as the photos will show. Especially the last one. *¹Note the "white fuzz" to the left of the first photo shows in the second photo as his little buddy in a different stage. *²Then see the final submission how they are doing that tonight, in pairs with differently staged caterpillars! (VARIOUS SIZES:Ranging from the smallest being ⅝" inch/19mm/1.9km-1¼" inch/32mm/3.2km).
