Date notes: 50°F/7°C Hu80% 6mph/10kmh-W. Night. Cold, Moist, damp & misty as it has rained frequently throughout the day. A calm & steady soft breeze lightly blows. Jacket/Flannel shirt weather.

Observation notes: As this night is one after rain for most of the day, it is very damp & misty from the thickening fog which is keeping the Moths low to the ground & in non-flight mode. She was perfectly concealed on the trunk of a Sugar Maple tree. 3rd photo shows how great her exquisite markings camouflage her very well. (1" inch/25mm/2.5km).
