Observation notes: Noticed at least one Painted Lady at the hummingbird feeder repeatedly. Observed butterfly and hummingbird sharing the feeder at least once, but most of the afternoon they were duking it out, with the butterfly feeding for lengthy periods then being chased off by the hummingbird. Lots of Painted Ladies and other butterflies in the flower garden on this autumn-like day, so not sure if more than one has discovered the hummingbird feeder.
