Observation notes: Six Different Individuals inspected us as we were walking through pine forest. First one we saw was on edge of ponderosa forest edge and meadow. We had white shirts and white hats on for shade. these butterflies flew around us some times briefly landing on us. They always seemed to sneak up on us either from behind or above. warm day mid 70's partly Clear turning to mostly cloudy. Sorry for blurry flight shot its the best i got as did not land for us!
