Observation notes: very common this day fluttering along trail disappearing into grasses or forest rain night before slow steady, sunny morning cool at start of day! very green not at all like the photos of madera canyon. looking and feeling very tropical. lots of larva on grasses and every plant seemed like lots of them a lot looked like moths. lots of pipevine females fluttering along the ground! not sure what az pipevine looks like sure they can tell by taste when they land on it.
