Observation notes: First observed afternoon of Aug 10. Host Milkweed leaf two thirds eaten. Returned Aug 11 for first picture at 10 AM, and leaf 99% eaten. Returned in late afternoon and all critters were gathered under adjacent leaf. Weather hot and sunny and thought they were hiding from the heat. Returned 8:30 am on Aug 12 and all were still sleeping under the same leaf took second submitted picture. Rough count from the picture about 170 little critters.
