Observation notes: Another one of the weird gray caterpillars I keep finding on Rose of Sharon bushes. This one was somewhat on the small side, at only around an inch long. It was delicately resting along the stem of its host plant in the late afternoon. When I checked back nearly a half-hour later, it had moved.
