Observation notes: Dead specimen found at dusk by side of the road. Remarkably preserved, apart from bent antena.

Coordinator notes: This individual is actually S. atlantis. It can be differentiated from S. cybele by the gray-blue eyes, isolated dark spot on the dorsum of the forewing closest to the thorax, and the light banding on the ventral hindwings between the 2 silvery rows of spots not quite reaching the inner row. -jmgesell
