Locust Underwing
Euparthenos nubilis

Observation date: July 24, 2017
Submitted by: Chrissy Costigan
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: This moth was in a pool room on the cement floor. Fluttered when I went near it. It moved to a glass door. When I opened the door it seemed like it did not want to go out. I was so pleased when it opened its wings and revealed the beautiful orange pattern.
