Observation notes: This butterfly let me spend about 10 minutes circling it and taking pictures of it on the ground (dirt, rocks, grass, twigs). Kept its wings up most of the time and the few times it opened them, it was too quick to get a photo of it—would close them right back up. Dogs were fairly close by and it didn't seem to mind them until they got too close for safety. Weather: Approx. 84 degrees, 70% humidity Size: Approx. 2.5"
