Observation notes: Sunny, beautiful day, butterfly was sitting on tomato. I was able to get close to it. I do have a butterfly garden with mostly Tithonia, Zinnias, Partridge Pea, Sunflowers, and Bachelor Buttons, as well as Milkweed, Parsley, and Dill. I have never seen this butterfly type before.
