Observation notes: Observed at Clinton Lake in Southwestern part of Lawrence, Kansas, on the ground in the grass. Flew away a couple of times and then landed and let me get really close to it and move around it to take pictures at different angles. Looked pretty tattered. Weather: Approx. 73 degrees, sprinkling rain. Size: Approx. 1.5"
