Observation notes: found the caterpillar on the ground beneath sycamore trees. I placed it in a container with leaves and by the following morning it had pupated.

Coordinator notes: I confess that I have a little difficulty distinguishing between A. polyphemus and A. luna instars, but I think I'm right about this. If the pupa eclosed into a luna moth, I hope you'll submit that photo. JRains
