Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Attracted to light trap using both white and black lights. the day was warm, evening cool shirtsleeve weather.

Verified date: August 03, 2017
Coordinator notes: Thanks for submitting, only our third sighting! This is actually N. pistaciaria. Besides having somewhat different markings, N. pulcherrima is more of a spring-flier (one of the first moths out January/February, here in SLO County), and holds its wings with the two FWs together.
