Observation notes: Miniscule (less than 1/4 inch length), pure white moth with goldish-brown patches, the gold patches shimmer when it moves around. Holds tail in the air

Coordinator notes: <i>Argyresthia goedartella</i> (Linnaeus, 1758), is a Eurasian species, apparently restricted in North America to Alaska It appears that it has historically been confused with <i>Argyresthia calliphanes</i>.
