Observation notes: My brother said this moth was flying erratically around our deck. It was hot and very humid today. We didn't release it until dusk because the birds had their eyes on it. It crawled around very cautiously, standing still when we approached it. Sometimes it would quickly flutter-jump to cover more ground (inside the netted tent). When I released it, it zoomed around the corner of the house within a split-second, as soon as it felt the warmth of the outdoors air. It was as if it was planning its escape!

Coordinator notes: These look a lot like O. detrita, but I'm pretty sure about this.
