Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Image captured in Aurora, CO, 80014, Arapahoe County in early Sunday morning of 16July2017. The weather is dry, clear with slight breeze from the SE. The window screen 'squares' is 1/32". The moth is about 1" (25cm) from wingtip to wingtip. The color (gray, white, black) is 'true-to-life'. I have gone through internet guides to moths and none of the images match the 'wing-banding' of this species. Full identity, if possible, please.
