Observation notes: This moth was observed outside my house in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada. Not sure if this is considered part of its normal range. I've lived here almost 40 years and hadn't seen one myself until this observation. (NOTE: i now see a fellow resident has a verified sighting of the caterpillar on this site)
