Observation notes: Found on lawn grass. Estimated wingspan ~1+”. Other than black marks on damaged right wing(s), which may be artifacts, specimen is all white, i.e., wings, body, legs. But in dorsal photo, there is a lightly shaded band between two faint lines extending across wings. Intact left forewing has a pointed tip, and there is the hint of a pointed tip on the right hindwing. I’m tempted to ID this as Eugonobapta nivosaria (Snowy Geometer), but I haven’t found any internet photos of E. n. with the shaded band. Please help.

Coordinator notes: That band is key. Note how the AM and PM lines are shaded from dark to light, away from the median band. I think the pointed appearance is a result of the wing being slightly folded. SG
