Observation notes: Barely saw this little (female) moth down in the grass in an open field in Lawrence, Kansas, but its unique shape and colors caught my eye. Looks very similar to the Bloodvein Moth, but had to do more research to identify. Weather: Approx. 80 degrees, 40% humidity, sunny. Size: Approx. 1" wingspan
